WebThe Dutch Empowerment Scale (DES) (Nederlandse Empowerment Lijst; Boevink et al., 2008) is a self-report questionnaire to determine the degree of empowerment in psychiatric clients. The DES consists of 40 items tapping six dimensions: professional support, social support, headstrong, belonging, self-management, and involved community.
