WebJun 5, 2012 · KB-NC. Within the same Excel workbook, I am unable to copy data and paste the information into another worksheet. The paste options are grayed out and the Control C/Control V doesn't work either. The file is usually a shared/protected file, but is currently unshared and all sheets are unprotected. I guess the data in the range of cells you are trying to copy' is result of a formula. Then you should use paste values. Copy the range of cells --> select the cell you want to paste --> click paste --> paste values. See if this works, else let know.
